Steps
Choose an HTEK home and apply
HTEK’s lawful rental review is separate from the authority’s voucher decision.
Complete the owner/tenant packet
If HTEK and the applicant select a home, the parties complete the RFTA or landlord packet.
Authority review and inspection
The authority reviews affordability and requested rent, then inspects under its current HUD and local standards.
Final lease-up
Do not move in or assume assistance has begun until every required approval and document is confirmed.
