Responsibilities

Report an issue

Summary only. Your lease and the facts control.

Report promptly

  • Active leaks, water intrusion, electrical concerns, no heat/water/electricity, damaged locks, structural changes, pests, and safety alarms
  • Exact location, when it began, visible impact, and safe attempted steps
  • Updated access, pet, gate, and alarm instructions

Care for the home

  • Use fixtures and appliances as intended
  • Keep the home reasonably clean and sanitary
  • Do not make unsafe or unauthorized repairs or alterations
  • Prevent avoidable damage and tell HTEK when a small issue changes

Coordinate access

  • Respond to scheduling requests
  • Secure pets and provide usable access
  • Understand that an online request is not a confirmed appointment
  • Follow the signed lease and lawful notice requirements

Electrical, gas, roof, structural, hazardous-material, or other unsafe work.

HTEK handles ordinary maintenance. Contact the authority separately if an unresolved concern requires its inspection process.
